Community Navigator Program

Diapers
If you are in need of diapers, you can come to our office at 419 Talmage Road, Suite K, Ukiah (click here to be taken to Google Maps) to pick some up.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a free program that delivers books directly to children living in Mendocino County ages 0-5 years old.

Mental Health and Wellness Skills
Some staff are trained in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM).

Parenting Information
If your child is displaying challenging behavior at home and you would like some guidance, you can come to the office at 419 Talmage Road, Suite K, Ukiah (click here to be taken to Google Maps) and pick up a “Tip Sheet”. The sheets are created by Positive Parenting Program. The sheets will give you information and strategies for a more smooth parenting experience.
Play Group

Triple P – Positive Parenting Program ®
We have a number of staff accredited to teach Triple P.

What does Raise & Shine do?
- At Raise & Shine, you can expect family-driven support from staff who understand what you are going through, practical and emotional support, referrals to services for you or your child, and helpful trainings or workshops.
- We work with our local network of:
- FRCs
- Regional Centers
- Doctors
- Libraries
- And more!
- We serve families with children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old.
What is an FRC?
- Family Resource Centers are local community centers that support parents and families.
- They help families connect and use local resources.
- Early Start services support families of children with disabilities, special healthcare needs, and those at risk for developing disabilities or delays.
What do they do?
- FRCs work with local regional centers and education agencies to help parents, families and children get information about local resources and services.
